Database Management
BlastCAD maintains a centralized Engineering Database shared across all your projects. It stores the physical hardware and material specifications that drive drill design, charge calculations, and blast analytics — separating reusable engineering data from project-specific design decisions.
Opening the Database Manager
Click Database in the top bar. The Database Manager modal opens with five tabs:

| Explosives | Detonator and explosive product database |
| Charge Templates | Pre-built charge column sequences |
| Primer Rules | Automatic primer placement rule sets |
| Drill Templates | Hole arrangement templates for ring generation |
All database entries are stored per user account on the server and are available across all projects in your workspace.
